PIPRA AG (short for Pre-Interventional Preventive Risk Assessment) has launched an AI-based postoperative delirium (POD) risk stratification tool, which at last allows implementation of the POD prevention guidelines to work in the real world.

Healthcare professionals can now base their decision-making on reliable, CE-certified, objective results.

 PIPRA’s decision support tool calculates the risk of postoperative delirium for each patient, saving time and money by reducing the length of stay on average 2.9 days per patient. The preoperative test allows the cost-effective deployment of preventative strategies for patients most at risk.
